Track Rundown

Prologue

Performed by the orchestra, this number brings back all of the memories from sitting in the audience and feeling that surge of adrenaline and excitement for it to begin. It’s only short but it’s a great way to start!

Picture Show

The shows opening number with the new arrangements for the west end production and starring Frances Mayli McCann and Jordan Luke Gage is one hell of an opening. This also introduces the aspect of the dialogue within the numbers. This was an amazing surprise and the vocals in this number are so pleasing to the ears.

Picture Show (Reprise)

The inclusion of this reprise not only gives us another beautiful vocal moment from Frances Mayli McCann, it also brings more of the story along into the album which gives the listener a unique opportunity to follow the story along as they listen through the album chronologically.

This World Will Remember Me

Jordan Luke Gage brings Clyde’s personality out with this one number, proposing his ‘plans’ to Bonnie. Outstandingly sung and beautifully arranged. This song is one of my favourites to play and it’s such a great tune to sing along to.

This World Will Remember Me (Reprise)

Another short reprise, moving the narrative along for the listener. Short, but no less lovely to listen to!

You’re Going Back to Jail

Jodie Steele as Blanche Barrow is introduced in this hilarious number and it really brings a smile to my face to listen to. It also features George Maguire as Buck Barrow alongside Lauren Jones, Julie Yammanee and Chloe Saunders who all bring comedy and fantastic vocals. Jodie Steele’s riffs in this number are beautiful and give me literal goosebumps every single time! Definitely another one of my favourite tracks on this album.

How ‘Bout A Dance?

This track features the stunning vocals of Frances Mayli McCann. I adore this song and Frances’ voice just adds a whole new love to it for me. It is such a lovely one to listen to and I know that this is going to be a very popular track too!

When I Drive

This has always been one of my favourite songs in the show, so when I first heard of the album being released this was always one I was looking forward to and it really did not disappoint. The vocals of Jordan Luke Gage and George Maguire are insane and their energy radiates right through the sound! This was one of my absolute favourite tracks.

God’s Arms Are Always Open

This track is heavenly!! (literally). Featuring the outstanding vocals of Dom Hartley-Harris and the amazing ensemble this one is such an incredible track to listen to, packed with awesome riffs and energetic vocals from the entire cast.

I may have said this for the whole album, but this one was one of my top plays!

You Can Do Better Than Him

This number brings our first introduction of Cleve September’s vocals in the role of Ted Hinton. His smooth and clean vocals are so pleasing to the ear and the joining section between Cleve and Jordan Luke Gage was beautiful.

You Love Who You Love

A Gorgeous duet between Jodie Steele and Frances Mayli McCann - This is a stunning track filled with lovely harmonies and lots of emotion. This is going to be one of the most played songs in the album, I just know it, and rightly so!!

Raise a Little Hell

This is the one number we got a sneak peak of earlier in the year. I love the energy coming from the band in this particular track, especially the guitar riffs!! Jordan Luke Gage sings this with such power, and immaculate vocals which truly blow me away every single time.

This World Will Remember Us

Another of my favourite songs prior to the album's release that did not at all disappoint!

Frances and Jordan’s voices blend perfectly and they both add an incredible energy to this number, it is an absolute tune!!

Entr’acte

Jazzy and bouncy number played by the incredible orchestra, giving a fun and brilliant opening to the act 2 section of the album.

Made in America

Another song featuring the powerhouse vocalist - Dom Hartley-Harris. I always love hearing Dom’s voice on this album. It always blows me away and I have a nice little boogie to myself. This is also another great number that features the wonderful ensemble of this show and shows off how strong this cast of performers truly was.

Too Late To Turn Back Now

This power duet between Frances Mayli McCann and Jordan Luke Gage is powerful, high energy and exciting - It is a catchy and fun number which is sure to leave you singing along!

Now That’s What You Call a Dream

Jodie Steele’s big solo in the show. Sang beautifully with stunning riffs and so much emotion. Jodie’s performance of this number is second to none and it has to be one of my favourite vocals in the whole album. Jodie Steele is definitely one of the west end’s most beautiful voices - This song absolutely shows it off and the orchestrations are fabulous.

What Was Good Enough For You

Now, I have to admit, In the OBCR… this was a skip for me. However, this new recording featuring Jordan Luke Gage and Frances Mayli McCann is one of my favourite tracks on the album and I found myself singing along. The vocals and the arrangements both come together to make this a really lovely listen.

Now That’s What You Call A Dream (Reprise)

These Harmonies!! I got chills upon my first time listening, Jodie and George make a perfect pairing and this short reprise is just amazing. I am forever glad these reprises were included in this recording!

Bonnie

A lovely peaceful and heartfelt number performed by Jordan Luke Gage. Singing about his ‘Bonnie’ which is sung so smoothly and beautifully by Gage.

Out of the Woods

A Beautiful orchestral interlude - This is so calming, but also introduces the chaos of Raise a little hell (Reprise) which is just about to play.

Raise a Little Hell (Reprise)

Another of my all time favourites from both the OBCR and the Live show itself and I was so excited to hear Jordan, George and Cleve sing this once again. The power and energy in these vocals is unmatched and I am lost for words! The band also absolutely kill it during this number staying at top energy throughout.

Dyin’ Ain’t So Bad

Frances Mayli McCann beautifully sings this song. You can feel her emotion through the song as she sings which is signs of a true outstanding performance and I feel incredibly lucky that we all now have this on a recording as her portrayal of this role is utterly wonderful.

God’s Arms Are Always Open (Reprise)

The emotion of this number came right through the screen and took me back to when I was sobbing my eyes out in the Garrick Theatre back in April. This features the beautiful vocals from Jodie Steele and Dom Hartley-Harris.

You Can Do Better Than Him (Reprise)

Short, but gorgeously sung by Cleve September as Ted Hinton!

Dyin’ Ain’t So Bad (Reprise)

Frances once again brings her beautiful voice to this wonderful number accompanied by Jordan Luke Gage too. This is another emotional number with stunning harmonies!

Finale

The orchestra plays out the album - Once again boasting beautiful arrangements and a very talented band/orchestra, It is also very catchy and features a small section of vocal from Frances Mayli McCan at the very end - wrapping up this wonderful show.

Dyin’ Ain’t So Bad (Alternates Version)

What a treat!! Sung by Alternate Bonnie and Clyde, Lauren Jones and Barney Wilkinson - This number is my final favourite on this recording. Outstanding harmonies between this powerhouse pair of performers and stunning vocals all round. It was so lovely to see Barney and Lauren to get some recognition for their hard work during this run and I am so happy that they got to have their own track on the album.

So overall, this is definitely one to listen to - especially if you are a fan of Bonnie and Clyde the Musical. The energy and vocal talent of every single cast member in this production is outstanding and this makes for a great cast recording!
